The use of light helicopters and drones has further reshaped logistics, enabling faster and more flexible deliveries in hard-to-reach areas. Autonomous UAVs require advanced computer vision systems and significant computing power to manage landing operations in complex environments, creating major technological challenges in terms of stability, reliability and robustness.
The project aims to develop an innovative advanced logistics service based on IoT, AI, Blockchain and Computer Vision, with two main objectives:
- to create a decision support system for Logistics 4.0, improving speed, accuracy and efficiency through Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision;
- to develop a Blockchain-based system for managing airspace occupancy, ensuring data integrity and security.
The project also includes modules for data collection and harmonisation, Artificial Intelligence solutions for matching supply and demand, and a graphical platform for managing the entire logistics process.

The project was approved and granted provisional funding through Executive Determination No. 557 of 8 August 2025.
