ATAC S.p.A., Rome’s public transport company, is Italy’s largest urban mobility operator and one of Europe’s major public transport organisations. It manages the full range of collective mobility services across the Rome metropolitan area, including surface transport, metro lines and railways, as well as park-and-ride facilities and on-street paid parking, covering an area of approximately 2,200 square kilometres.

We developed the new web portal around one clear objective: giving users fast, simple access to the information and services they need. By adopting Sitefinity, we implemented a scalable CMS architecture that successfully separates front-end and back-end environments while delivering a responsive interface aligned with AgID guidelines. The project significantly improved content management and SEO capabilities, while enhancing the overall digital experience. The portal was also selected as a finalist in the 2022 Progress Sitefinity Website of the Year Awards, in the Public Sector category.
