GAIA - Get Artificial Intelligence Applied

The GAIA project focuses on the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and optimize the supply and distribution chain. In an increasingly globalized and competitive environment, technologies such as IoT, AI, Computer Vision, and Blockchain are revolutionizing the logistics sector.

The use of lightweight helicopters and drones has further transformed the industry, enabling fast and flexible deliveries in hard-to-reach areas.

Autonomous UAVs (drones) require advanced computer vision systems and significant computational power to manage landing in complex environments, posing considerable challenges in terms of stability and robustness.

The project aims to develop an innovative advanced logistics service based on IoT, AI, blockchain, and computer vision, with two main goals:

Develop a decision support system for Logistics 4.0, enhancing speed, accuracy, and efficiency through AI and computer vision.

Create a blockchain-based system to manage airspace occupancy, ensuring data integrity and security.

The project includes modules for data collection and harmonization, AI-based demand-supply matching, and a graphical platform for managing the entire logistics process.
